Her work experience as a financial and human resource director provided a strong foundation in leadership, business knowledge, people development and labour relations.

As an executive coach working with individuals and a feedback coach in leadership programmes, Eileen focuses on facilitating and evoking effectiveness and fulfilment in all aspects of executive and personal leadership. Much of Eileen’s coaching work is with executives in transitions, such as promotions, transfers and new board appointments, and minorities within the executive or senior leadership of organisations.   Eileen’s corporate career led to appointments as finance director and human resource director, mostly in the Murray & Roberts group of companies, in the plastics and tyre industries. During this time, Eileen led or was actively involved in mergers and acquisitions; business disposals; turnaround management of struggling businesses; strategy formulation and strategic planning; labour negotiations; and organisational and people change initiatives.  Some years ago, Eileen took up an opportunity to change direction and became a psychologist and coach.

Eileen works with a broad spectrum of clients, including senior management and professionals in insurance, engineering, plastics manufacturing, academia and financial services, as well as state-owned entities and non-governmental organisations. Eileen also facilitates as a feedback coach in leadership development programmes for academic institutions, and is involved as a part-time lecturer with Wits Business School on the Business Executive Coaching Certificate.    Eileen was born in South Africa and lives and works mainly in Johannesburg. She has an MA Clinical Psychology (cum laude), and after undertaking a variety of coaching certifications, was examined and awarded an accreditation at professional certified coach level by the International Coach Federation.
